This 1970 BMW R50/5 has had a recent top end included new bore job with oversized pistons and the valves and seats ground.
The transmission was rempved, taken apart, measured ( all parts withen specks) and reassembled with new seals.
The carbs were rebuilt.
The petcocks were rebuilt, the gas tank flushed out, and the oils changed.
.
points were gapped and the timing set.
The bike was started, warmed up, let cool and the heads were retorqued and the valves reset.
A new Michelin rear tire was installed, as was a new battery.
Road test confirmed all was O K.
This bike is a daily runner.
